

Beach Cleaning Operative
Job Description
Work the dawn shift on Lara Bay and Toxeftra, hand-picking the debris the sieving machines are not allowed near and clearing the tide line before the first guests arrive.
What you will do
- Walk assigned shoreline sectors from 05:30 and hand-collect plastics, rope, glass and fishing waste above and below the tide line.
- Bag and separate collected material into plastics, mixed waste and hazardous finds at the sector collection point.
- Flag turtle tracks, nest markers and dune damage to the crew leader before any machine enters the sector.
- Log sector completion, bag counts and unusual finds on the daily shift sheet.
What we are looking for
- Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in heat from early morning.
- Able to reach Neo Chorio, or willing to use the crew shuttle from Polis Chrysochous.
- Basic Greek or English; we train everything else on site.
- No previous experience needed — full induction and PPE provided.
