Relief Milker, Summer Rota

Part-time cover across our three Overijssel yards through the summer holiday months, so the permanent teams actually take the leave they booked. Fixed shifts agreed a month ahead.

What you will do

• Carry out morning or evening milkings to each farm's written parlour routine
• Record and separate treated cows so no antibiotic milk reaches the bulk tank
• Complete the plant wash and record the wash temperature after every milking
• Report lame, off-feed or high cell count cows before you leave the yard
• Leave the parlour, collecting yard and milk room clean for the next shift

What we are looking for

• Proven milking experience in a parlour or robot herd
• Able to work alone on a yard where you may be the only person on site
• Own transport between our Dalfsen, Ommen and Hardenberg yards; travel time is paid
• Eight to twenty milkings a month across June, July and August
• EU/EEA right to work required — the hours on this rota fall below the threshold for a sponsored seasonal permit
