Harvest Yard and Clamp Hand

icon De Hoevesicon Netherlandsicon Negotiable

Job Description

Called in for the cut weeks only — a few intense days each time the grass is ready, plus the maize week in September. Ideal alongside study or another local job.

What you will do

  • Help sheet, weight and seal the clamps as each pit is filled
  • Keep the clamp apron and the road out of the yard swept clean between loads
  • Move tyres, gravel bags and side sheets and keep the sheeting store tidy
  • Run fuel, water and food out to the machine operators during long cut days
  • Assist with clamp face management and daily silage sampling once the pits are open

What we are looking for

  • Available at short notice within the cut window — the weather sets the date, not the calendar
  • Fit for physical outdoor work in heat, dust and occasionally rain
  • Sensible around moving machinery in a busy yard; a full safety briefing comes first
  • Own transport to the Lunteren yard
  • EU/EEA right to work required — the on-call pattern of these weeks does not fit a sponsored seasonal permit

Good to know

  • Season: Cut weeks and maize harvest — May to September
  • Department: Harvest
  • EU/EEA right to work required
