Catering Assistant — Christmas Party Season

Six weeks of corporate lunches, party nights and staff-canteen Christmas service across contract catering sites in Limerick. Shifts are released weekly, and the strongest people are first on the list for the summer season.

What you will do

• Set up service counters and function rooms to the daily brief before guests arrive.
• Serve at volume while keeping hot food above 63°C and cold below 5°C on the line.
• Answer allergen questions accurately from the day sheet, or escalate to the chef on duty.
• Clear down, count stock back and complete the cleaning record at the end of each function.

What we are looking for

• Hearth & Hire training block, including the allergen and service-pressure modules.
• Availability across daytime functions and evening party nights through the six-week run.
• Comfortable moving between three or four sites in the city on a week's notice.
• Shifts are confirmed weekly at short notice, so an existing EU/EEA right to work in Ireland is required.
