A summer job within the Patrol is for you who like working with people and want to contribute to a safer everyday life. The work involves responding to all security alarms within the municipality of Jönköping and carrying out aid-assessed night visits to citizens with home care or personal assistance. Your duties

As a summer temporary worker with us, you get varied and rewarding work. You work with care, concern and supervision, usually together with a colleague. Among other things, you go out on planned visits and critical alarms to provide support based on the citizen's individual needs. It is about creating a safer everyday life for the citizens.

Examples of tasks that are included:

Respond to and go out on security alarms

Carry out home care efforts in the citizen's home at night

Provide support with personal care

Carry out delegated health care operations

Perform simpler tasks within personal assistance, such as lifting and turning

Who are you?

We are looking for someone who is positive, enjoys working with people and has good collaboration skills. The work also requires that you can work independently, take responsibility and be responsive.

We look favorably on whether you have education in health care, child care and leisure or similar, but it is not a requirement. Previous experience in care and social care is meritorious.

You need to be able to speak, read and write in Swedish because you communicate with the elderly, their relatives and colleagues as well as write and read work notes.

You need to be 18 years old and the work requires a B driver's license.

Good to know

We are looking for more summer substitutes for our holiday period between week 25 and 34.

We would like to see that you who apply can work at least four consecutive weeks, but you who have the opportunity to work occasional hours during the week are also welcome to apply.

As a holiday substitute, you can work full-time or part-time according to agreement, which is governed by the needs of the business. Working hours are mainly at night, but day and evening shifts can also occur, both weekdays and weekends.

The workplace is located at Kasernen at the Asecs area in Jönköping, which is also your starting point in the daily work.
