Hoivakoti Paatela as a workplace

Hoivakoti Paatela offers round-the-clock service housing for the elderly and people with memory problems in Muurame. Paatela is a safe home where everyday life is communal and unhurried. The home has a total of 22 places for residents. In Paatela, we eat tasty home-cooked food, enjoy the beautiful surroundings and hang out with the residents. The home's regularly held reminiscence sessions, sing-a-long moments and chair dances are liked by both the residents and the caregivers. Hoivakoti is located in Muuramen's Kinkomaa, in a peaceful and natural environment, in the Päijänne beach landscape. Paatela can be reached from Jyväskylä by bus in about 20 minutes. Your working day as a nurse with us

As a caregiver, you create a safe, meaningful and valuable everyday life for our residents with your presence. Your work includes e.g. basic care, acting as a personal nurse, outdoor activities with our residents, supporting the ability to function, monitoring the well-being of our residents, medical care and various treatment procedures. In addition, you participate in everyday arrangements and activities together with the rest of the team.

Employment information

We are looking for gig workers or hourly workers. With your application, you can tell what kind of job you would be interested in. Gig work is 2-shift work, but hourly workers can also work night shifts.

We hope to start the work as soon as possible. Gig work is based on a contract that does not obligate you to any specific number of hours. You can start gigging with us right away and continue gigging for as long as it suits you.

Salary

When hiring, we follow the private collective agreement in the social services sector. The job-specific base salary is €14.82-16.03/h depending on the experience bonus (salary category G20C).

Gig workers are paid an hourly wage and the salary is paid twice a month. Any shift-specific bonuses come on top of the basic salary.

What do we expect from you?

- A brisk and self-initiated attitude

- Nursing or nursing degree

- Valid medical licenses, vaccination coverage according to the Infectious Diseases Act and hygiene passport

- Fluent Finnish language skills (at least B1 level) so that you can communicate with our residents and colleagues, work on the phone and make resident registrations
