Produce Sorting & Post-Harvest Processing Assistant

After each harvest, produce must be carefully processed. You’ll work inside Agricolt’s post-harvest facility, sorting vegetables, fruits, or greens according to size, firmness, color, and freshness.

Responsibilities

• Operate sorting belts and visually inspect produce.
• Identify defects like bruising, discoloration, or incorrect sizing.
• Clean produce using washing tunnels or manual rinse stations.
• Prepare graded batches for packing or cold storage.
• Maintain sanitation of sorting lines according to food-safety rules.
• Use handheld scanning tools to track batch numbers.

Requirements

• No formal education required.
• Ability to stand for long periods.
• Good eyesight and strong attention to detail.
• Comfortable working in a cool, controlled environment.
