Grain Intake & Drier Operator

July to November season contract running intake, drying and conditioning at the 38,000 tonne Toruń store — the shift where a good harvest is either preserved or quietly lost.

What you will do

• Operate the intake pit, pre-cleaner and the two 80 t/h continuous-flow driers on a rotating shift
• Set drying temperature and throughput to hit contract moisture without cooking the grain
• Manage aeration and silo temperature monitoring, and act on a hot spot the same shift
• Keep bays and silos correctly labelled so batch traceability survives the busiest week of the year

What we are looking for

• Experience in a grain store, feed mill, drier or comparable bulk handling operation
• Telehandler or forklift licence (UDT), or willingness to take the funded course on site
• Comfortable on 12 hour rotating shifts, including nights, through the intake peak
• Methodical with paperwork — intake records are audited by buyers and schemes
