Potato Grading Line Crew

September to December season contract on the ware potato grading line at Toruń, taking crop straight off the lift and out to packers to a fixed specification.

What you will do

• Feed, monitor and clear the optical grader and the manual inspection belt
• Pull out greens, damage, disease and clod to the buyer's tolerance before boxing
• Weigh, label and palletise boxes, and stack them to the cold store plan
• Keep the line, belts and floor clean to the site's food hygiene standard

What we are looking for

• No prior experience needed — the line is trained on site in your first week
• Able to stand and work at line pace for an eight hour shift
• Reliable timekeeping; the line runs to a despatch slot, not to a wish
• Shared accommodation and a hot meal on shift are provided for the season
