Seasonal Milker

Full grazing-season contract milking twice a day in our 2x12 swingover parlour in Friesland, covering the months when the herd is out and the permanent team is spread across grazing and silage work.

What you will do

• Milk morning and evening to the written parlour routine — pre-dip, strip, wipe, post-dip, every cow, every time
• Separate treated cows and record withdrawal periods so no antibiotic milk reaches the bulk tank
• Run the plant wash after every milking and log the wash temperature
• Report lame, off-feed or high cell count cows to the herd manager before you leave the yard
• Keep the parlour, collecting yard and milk room to the standard our processor audits against

What we are looking for

• Previous parlour or robot milking experience in any country
• Able to start at 05:15 and to work a shared weekend rota across the season
• Quiet handling — no sticks, no shouting, in any of our sheds
• Attention to hygiene detail; the bulk tank result is a team score
• Non-EU applicants welcome — we sponsor the seasonal work permit and can offer a room in our Bolsward staff house
