Irrigation Season Technician

Keep the drip network running for the eight months the water is on, from the Alqueva offtake to the last emitter in the row, across every irrigated block we farm.

What you will do

• Service filtration stations, pressure regulators and fertigation injectors on a planned cycle
• Install, flush and repair drip line, and trace pressure loss back to the cause rather than the symptom
• Maintain the soil moisture probe network and check readings against the irrigation schedule
• Report weekly on volumes drawn per block against the seasonal water budget

What we are looking for

• Technical training or hands-on experience in irrigation, mechanics, plumbing or electrical work
• Worked with drip systems and pump stations, ideally under Alqueva supply
• Able to read a pressure map and a basic hydraulic schematic
• Category B licence; shared on-call rotation across the team in high summer
