About usSundheimen, located in Skogsskiftet, is a municipal nursing home with a total of 54 beds. There are somatic and dementia wards and round-the-clock care homes. Each ward is divided into groups of 8 – 10 patients. 10 out of 20 care homes in the neighboring building are operated by Sundheimen. The users are mainly long-term patients with complex and composite diagnoses. We have our own production kitchen and service assistants who contribute to the department's work.
We have volunteers who help us with activities such as bingo, devotions and visiting friends etc. We wish the best for our users and make arrangements for nice activities in the weekday.

About the position The positions are part of an annual plan with day/evening work and 16 weekends per year. If a larger position is desired, timebanking may be considered.
We have vacant temporary health care worker positions for up to six months.
- Work tasks: Patient-oriented work tasks in a hospital ward
- Daily departmental work in collaboration with service assistants.
- Focus on patients and contribute to interdisciplinary collaboration with nurses, physiotherapists and doctors.
- Direct hire of apprentices and students
- Delegated responsibility for drug handling
- Ensure good interaction and documentation in the current subject system
- Qualifications: Norwegian authorization as a health worker
- Valid work and residence permit
- Relevant experience
- Must have: Good oral and written knowledge of Norwegian
- Digital competence
- Requirement for a valid police certificate
- Qualifications: Preferably experience from work in elderly care
- Has a good ability to work independently and in a structured manner
- You are eager to learn, take responsibility and use knowledge in practice
- You are solution-focused and committed,
- You are flexible, positive and want to create good moments for patients
- Good communication and interaction skills
- Contributes to a good working environment by promoting the positive
- You are confident in dialogue with relatives and communicate clearly
- Personal property is emphasized
