Giging warehouse workers to Vierumäki

We are looking for warehouse workers in Vierumäki for the summer season

The job includes versatile storage tasks with a forklift in outdoor areas and in an outdoor warehouse. The products handled are related to heavy construction, so the experience of handling long and heavy goods supports success at work. However, if necessary, the task will be introduced.

The position involves working with wood, such as handling large-sized plywood and wooden boards. The job has the opportunity to do independent forklift work, so self-initiative and independent work approach are emphasized.

In the task we require:

- Fluent Finnish language skills (working language Finnish)

- Readiness for outdoor work

- Good visualization and depth perception

- Self-directed and responsible approach to work

- Possibility to travel to the workplace with your own vehicle

We look forward to:

- Previous experience in warehouse work

- Counterweight forklift driving experience

- Experience with a 4-road forklift

The person we are looking for has a positive attitude to work, is ready to learn new things and works naturally as part of a team.

The work is of a gig nature and shifts are offered according to the customer's needs. As a rule, the work shifts are divided into two shifts on weekdays (morning 6:00–14:00 and evening 14:00–22:00), but the applicant must also be ready for night shifts if necessary as the season progresses. The work will start during June and continue until the end of the summer, and the selected persons will have the opportunity to start already in May.

Salary is determined in accordance with the collective agreement of the store and is based on a table salary of €12.18–14.57/h (+ evening and night supplements). The salary level is affected by previous work experience, education and other skills suitable for the position.
