Root Crop Lift Operator

September to early November season contract on the beet and potato lift, running the harvester through the wettest and most unforgiving weeks of the Vistula calendar.

What you will do

• Operate a self-propelled beet harvester and a two-row potato harvester as the campaign moves
• Set share depth, web speed and cleaning intensity to lift clean crop without bruising it
• Build and sheet clamps to the store team's specification ahead of frost
• Work with the loader driver on field-edge loading so beet leaves for the factory on schedule

What we are looking for

• A season on root crop harvesting equipment, or strong self-propelled machinery experience
• Category T or B licence and confidence on soft, rutted ground
• Physically prepared for long autumn days in poor weather
• Available for the full lift — the campaign does not pause for the calendar
