Seasonal Laundry Operative

Run the wash floor inside a Palma resort hotel for the full Balearic season: sorting, tunnel washer cycles, drying and folding to the client’s linen spec across rotating morning and afternoon shifts from April through October.

What you will do

• Sort soiled linen by fabric, soil level and infection-risk category before every load
• Operate tunnel washers, dryers and flatwork ironers to the programme set for each article
• Record wash temperatures and cycle times in the daily hygiene log
• Fold, stack and trolley clean linen to the housekeeping floors on agreed timings
• Flag stained, torn or worn stock for rewash, repair or removal from circulation

What we are looking for

• Available for the full season, April to October, including weekends and Balearic public holidays
• Comfortable on your feet through an eight-hour shift in a warm laundry room
• Basic Spanish or English — enough to follow shift briefings and safety instructions
• Industrial laundry experience is useful but we train from zero
• Shared seasonal accommodation in Palma offered at subsidised cost
