Key role in procurement in the Telemark battalion

Telemark battalion (TMBN) is a mechanized battalion combat group with 450 professional soldiers, with high readiness and short reaction time for missions at home and abroad. The department was established in 1993, mechanized and fully professionalized in 2002, and is currently based in modern facilities in Rena leir, approx. 2 hours from Oslo. TMBN has participated in international operations for over 20 years, and is the Army's largest contributor to such missions.

In order to ensure good operational deliveries over time, procurement and finances are crucial. We are looking for you with expertise in finance and administration, who has good collaboration and communication skills, and is motivated by contributing to secure deliveries through the Armed Forces' procurement procedures. You will work in an interdisciplinary team across departments, with coordination of work processes, follow-up of reporting and support for the department's management. The position requires that you are concerned with good administration, and enjoy analyzes and written work.

You will have an important role in safeguarding the department's interests and ensuring stable deliveries for operational assignments. We offer varied and independent tasks in a good working environment.

Place of work is Rena in Åmot municipality, 60 km from Hamar and approx. 150 km from Gardermoen.

• Duties Carry out procurement for the Telemark battalion
• Guide requesters in procurement within the public sector
• Follow up on financial obligations and goods receipt
• Take care of settlement of invoices and financial obligations
• Handle discrepancies in connection with payment and deliveries

Qualifications To be eligible for this job you must:

• Have education at bachelor's level in economics, administration and management, or equivalent Relevant work experience can, after assessment, compensate for formal education
• Able to speak and write Norwegian well
• Could be security cleared to HEMMELIG and NATO SECRET before joining (for more information on security clearance, see www.nsm.no)

It is an advantage if you also have:

• Driving license class B
• User competence in the ERP system SAP (System Application Platform)
• Experience from procurement or other relevant work experience
• Experience from the public sector

You will get a position as a senior consultant (job code 1363), with a salary from NOK 625,300 to NOK. 689,500 per year, depending on qualifications. A 2% statutory contribution to the State pension fund is deducted from the salary.
