Freelance guide wanted for cultural and historical tours in Copenhagen

We are looking for committed freelance guides who can give our guests an authentic experience of Copenhagen - delivered with personality, humor and genuine presence.

Who are we?

Go Like a Local is an experience company based in Copenhagen, which creates personal and authentic tours for both tourists and locals.

We have been ranked number 1 on TripAdvisor, and our mission is to show Copenhagen as only a local can.

Our most popular tours include Walk & Canal, Copenhagen Contrasts, Sights & Gems, Nørrebro and Malmö Highlights.

We are now expanding to Helsingør and several other cities.

Our base is at Gothersgade 11A in the inner city, where guides and community members meet, share ideas and develop new experiences together.

Who are you?

• You speak fluent English - German is a big plus.
• You are either a local Copenhagener or have lived in Copenhagen for many years.
• You love Copenhagen and the city's stories, and you can convey them vividly, engagingly and present.
• You are outgoing, comfortable speaking in front of groups and love meeting new people.
• You are flexible and can work some weekends.
• You have experience as a guide, mediator or storyteller. Guide certificate is a plus, but not a requirement.
• You are looking for freelance work with payment per trip.
