Coastal Maintenance Crew Leader

Run a six-to-ten person crew across three or four contracted beaches a day, set the cleaning method for each sector and be the person our hotel and municipality clients call on.

What you will do

• Plan the daily route and decide, per sector, between mechanical sieving, tine raking and hand-only clearance.
• Brief the crew on nesting exclusion zones, dune boundaries and machine no-go lines before the shift starts.
• Carry out the pre-start check on the tractor-towed cleaner and quad rake, and stop work on any fault.
• Record collected volumes per beach and hand the client a signed completion sheet.
• Support induction and on-the-job training of new seasonal operatives, including permit-holding crew arriving from abroad.

What we are looking for

• Two or more seasons of team leadership in grounds maintenance, cleaning, construction or agriculture.
• Valid category B driving licence; towing experience is an advantage.
• Confident spoken Greek and English — you deal with crews and clients on the same morning.
• Comfortable writing short operational reports and reading a sector map.
