About the device
The Digitalization and road data unit is an active contributor to Transport, which works to train colleagues in the use of digital and technological methods to achieve good data bases and work processes. We have a total of ten employees divided into two specialist areas, as the name of the unit describes. The bulk of the employees have office space in Hamar, but we can also be found in Lillehammer, Gjøvik and Otta. There are good opportunities to influence your own position and at the same time become an active contributor to preserving a good working environment.

About the position
We are looking for you who are a bridge builder between user needs, goals and technological possibilities.
A significant part of the work is mapping and understanding needs and how technology can support the work processes in Transport. The unit is structured through role responsibility, which this position will also be part of. The work will include consultancy, preparation of requirements specifications, acquisitions, implementations and user training in connection with technology. Understanding of data flow, and what is needed to become more data-driven with the use of road data and basic data in our work processes, is an important competence to take with you in the work that is part of the position. This may also include registering, updating and correcting data sets. Ability to lead a work group of colleagues is an advantage.
- 100% permanent position.
- Place of work: Hamar, Lillehammer, Gjøvik or the nearest applicable office location where Innlandet county municipality has a transport office.
- The position may involve some travel activities in Innlandet county.
- The person appointed to the position will be placed in a position code depending on the requirements for the position, education and experience cf. legislation and agreements. Job title will be consultant or adviser.
Tasks and desired qualifications
- Contributes to the technological development of Transport through service design and system understanding.
- Contribute by registering, structuring and communicating needs against goals, and being able to see the interaction between people and technology.
- Process analysis and mapping of technological wishes and needs.
- Designing "user journeys" and drawing up requirements specifications.
- Procurement and management of digital solutions.
- Implementation and facilitation for profit realization, including tasks in.fm. reception project (e.g. from Novari).
- Advice, system support and training for Transport in the face of technology and data.
- Able to use IT tools in the Microsoft platform.
Qualification requirements
- You have relevant recent college education, with a minimum bachelor's degree.
- Relevant work experience (minimum 2 years) from recent times can compensate for a lack of formal education.
- Communicates very well in Norwegian, both in writing and orally.
