Are you the reindeer guide we're looking for?

We are now looking for brisk reindeer guides for our client company, Kujala Porotila, in the wonderful surroundings of Kuusamo for the upcoming winter season 2026-2027!

As a reindeer farm guide, you get to participate in versatile and experiential customer service work. Your tasks include customer service and guiding guests of the reindeer farm in Finnish and English. You also take care of the reindeer's daily care, such as feeding and monitoring their well-being. You guide customers on various safaris and farm tours, which tell about the life of reindeer and the history of the reindeer farm. In addition, you get to participate in reindeer training and various farm maintenance tasks.

Previous experience in similar tasks and fields is an advantage, but not necessary. We familiarize you with all work tasks at the beginning of the season and you learn everything you need to know on the job. You work as part of a large and experienced team, which includes guides and professionals in the reindeer industry. Good physical condition, a social nature and a genuine interest in animals and outdoor activities are an advantage in this job. We expect from you an honest and genuine attitude, responsibility and initiative in handling work tasks.

According to the contract, the works will start in November and last until March-April. The employment is full-time, but if you have another number of hours in mind that is more suitable for you, you can state it in your application! We will assist with accommodation if necessary. The employment relationship is concluded between Bondata and the employee. The terms of employment follow the program service industry collective agreement.

We expect you to:

- Suitable education and/or previous work experience in the tasks of a reindeer guide/in the tourism sector

- Finnish and English language skills, other language skills are your advantage

- Good interaction and teamwork skills with both people and animals

- Independent and flexible approach to work

- The possibility to do outdoor work mainly during the winter season

- B driver's license and valid EA1 education

- Hygiene and drinking passes
