Project Engineer Techniques

We are looking for a Technical Engineer Utilities for a unique and dynamic recreational environment in West Flanders.

In this position you combine technical expertise with operational leadership and play an important role within the infrastructure team. You support the Team Leader in the daily organization of the work and ensure that buildings, installations and technical facilities function optimally.

You are not only technically strong, but you also like to take responsibility. Thanks to your hands-on mentality and organizational skills, you ensure that maintenance and improvement works are carried out safely, efficiently and with high quality.

What will your role look like?

• You support the Team Leader in the planning, organization and follow-up of maintenance and repair work on buildings, technical installations and infrastructure.
• You take over the operational management of the team when the Team Leader is absent.
• You act as the first point of contact for technicians, contractors and internal stakeholders on the work floor.
• You follow up technical interventions and improvement projects from preparation to delivery.
• You monitor the execution of works in terms of quality, safety, timing and budget.
• You ensure correct reporting and smooth communication within the team.
• You analyze technical problems and contribute to sustainable solutions.
• You support the further optimization of technical processes and infrastructure.
• You ensure compliance with safety procedures and technical standards.
• You actively contribute to efficient and reliable technical services within the organization.

What do we expect from you?

• Bachelor's degree in Electromechanics, Electricity, HVAC or equivalent through experience.
• Strong technical knowledge of electricity, plumbing and building techniques.
• Experience in a technical maintenance environment.
• First experience in managing or coordinating employees, contractors or technical teams is a plus.
• Organizationally strong and able to set priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Stress-resistant and decisive.
• Willingness to take on regular weekend work within a seasonal environment.
