Every summer, we recruit approximately 350 summer temps for work within our various activities within health and social care. Do you want a meaningful summer job where you make a difference to others every day?
We are now looking for summer substitutes for care and social care within Arvika Municipality. With us, you not only get rewarding work - you also get valuable experience, new knowledge and the opportunity to develop both professionally and personally.

We need summer temps between v.25–32, we prioritize candidates who can work the whole period.

Qualifications
To succeed in the role of summer substitute with us, we see that you:
Must be at least 18 years old.
Has a genuine interest in working with people and helping others.
Can communicate freely in Swedish, both spoken and written.
Has good digital skills, much of the work is handled via computer or app.
We see it as meritorious that you are educated or have an ongoing education in nursing or similar, or alternatively have experience of working with people in nursing or another service profession.
We see it as strongly meritorious that you have a B driver's license, as in certain areas it is a requirement.

We need employees for:
The home service: provides support to people who remain in their own home and need help in everyday life. The efforts may include personal care, such as help with hygiene and dressing, as well as service efforts such as shopping, meals and some cleaning may occur. The goal is to strengthen the individual's independence and security.
Special accommodation (SÄBO): is a form of accommodation for people with extensive needs for somatic and/or dementia care, which cannot be met in ordinary accommodation. There are staff here around the clock who provide nursing care, social support and health care efforts in a safe and adapted environment.
LSS activities: aimed at people with severe and permanent disabilities. The municipality offers various interventions, for example group housing, daily activities and escort services, to enable an independent life with good living conditions.
Personal assistance: means individually adapted support for people with extensive disabilities. The assistance helps the individual with basic needs and other personal activities, and aims to create increased participation and self-determination in everyday life.
Job duties
Help and support people in everyday situations such as e.g. personal care, showering, dressing, meals and medication management.
Documentation of nursing work using a digital journal system.
Support and participate in leisure activities together with care recipients.
You will have a varied working time that is arranged for both day, evening, weekend or night, according to the schedule.
Application
Interviews take place continuously throughout the advertising period, physically or digitally. Before any offer of employment, we will request to see extracts from the Police's charge register against preschool-school. We recommend that you order the register digitally (via Kivra) before a possible interview, you do this on the Police's website. Remarks in the register may affect your possibility of employment. The position requires you to participate in both digital and physical introductory training before a possible summer temporary position.
