Host/hostess) reception and shop salesperson (M/F)

The Abeille, Miel et Nature Association manages and runs the Folie de Finfarine tourist site. This site extends over 10 ha of wooded space in the town of Poiroux (85440). We offer activities and self-guided tours on the theme of bees and other small creatures with different means of mediation.

Open from April to October, the site has a reception/ticketing area and a 150 m2 shop, as well as 2 museums: La ruche Géante and Api Cinéma. We mainly sell honey-based products, local products, books and souvenir items.

The primary missions of this position are to maintain the reception area and the boutique by running the reception desk (ticketing) and selling the boutique's products.

Main missions:

- Welcome and inform visitors

- Inform and guide customers

- Manage ticketing and store collections

- Maintain a cash register (opening, cashing, giving change, closing)

- Run a store (shelving, facing, cleanliness, stocks, etc.)

WELCOME AND INFORMATION:

Welcome visitors warmly (physically and by telephone)

Know how to inform and guide visitors

Respond to customer requests

Opening and closing the site.

CASH MANAGEMENT:

Opening and closing cash register

Manage the cash register independently

Know how to make invoices

Master the change.

SHOP SALE:

Merchandising, shelving, labeling

Traffic, facing

Advise customers on the products on sale, particularly on beehive products (internal training)

Receipt and control of orders

MAINTENANCE OF PREMISES:

Monitoring (during opening hours) the cleanliness of the premises

Profile sought:

Experience: 1 to 3 years in sales and/or reception

Skills: English desired, use of a cash register, good speech, comfortable with family audiences

Qualities: Ease, rigor, organized, good presentation, smiling, autonomous

Seasonal fixed-term contract 2 months, 35 hours/week, working weekends and public holidays.
